What is the main highlight of the kitchen?
The main highlight of the kitchen is the Sink Aerator that functions as a garbage crusher. In 30 years of my career, this is the first project in which this system has been used. It is placed below the sink and enables the wet and dry kitchen waste to be disposed off neatly, keeping the kitchen odour-free.
Tell us about the functionality aspect taken care of in the kitchen?
We used a combination of parallel and L-shaped design. For functional reasons, there is a 10/10 servant room near the kitchen which also ensures easy accessibility and hygiene maintenance. There is a six and a half by 10 dedicated area near the servant’s room that can be utilized as an open storage for miscellaneous items.
Could you specify the accessories used?
We used laminate white matte, dark grey and glossy orange for cupboards and vitrified tiles in the kitchen. On the left hand side, we designed a vertical space for built-in microwave and also kept a space for ventilation in the overhead unit. We designed rolling shutters to hide utensils and a wicker basket for storage purpose. Colourful backsplash in fruit design gives a fresh feel and unique look to the kitchen. We placed appliances like Siemens hob, chimney and a hi-tech refrigerator in the kitchen. There is also a provision for air conditioner in the kitchen.
